I'm only a teenager and discovered Ben Folds from the catchy soundtrack of Over The Hedge. I listened to his "Rockin The Suburbs" album, and it was really not my taste. I went back and listened to it months later and found out that Ben's music really put a smile on my face. I got into Ben Folds Five, and I soon found myself asking my father to buy Ben Fold's book. Right away I dove into this book and found it charming, inspiring, hilarious, and very well done. Ben really lets you in on the true hardships and troubles that life can bring your way, the backstory behind songs, and life transitioning from the frontman of a rock band to going solo. The best part? He writes it spectacularly. There's information in this book I would never dream I would know. For those reasons, this book is a solid 5 stars. A must-read and a must buy.
